A Palestinian teenager shot and killed his girlfriend with a rifle at their home in the northern West Bank city of Nablus on Friday, an official said.
Hassan al-Bishr was killed after being stabbed to death at his home, the head of Nabi Saleh police said in a statement.
Al-Bashr was an 18-year-old student from the town of Kafr Qaddum who was in his final year of high school, according to the Jerusalem Post newspaper.
The Israeli police identified him as 18-month-old al-Sami Abu al-Qadri, a student at Al-Quds University in Jerusalem, and the body was found inside his home.
The killing has sparked fears of another Palestinian killing in the city, which has seen three Palestinian attacks since December.
