The team has changed the logo’s appearance several times over the years, most recently during the 2017 season when the team adopted a more “authentic” look.
The current logo is a variation of the previous logo.
“I’m not going to take a page out of the Cincinnati Bengals playbook and I’ve been working on this for quite some time,” team owner Mike Brown said last week.
“I think we have a great chance of having a really great logo, and we’re going to have a really good logo.”
The logo was created by artist and designer James Breen, who was born in Cincinnati and raised in New Jersey.
Breen has previously designed other logos for other sports franchises, including the NFL’s New Orleans Saints and the San Diego Chargers.
