Kerala’s Cybertech University (CTU) has conferred a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) degree on a student who has worked in the field for over six years.
The student, identified as Ramesh Kumar, was part of the IT department of Kerala State Government from 2014 to 2016, when he started as an IT consultant.
During his stint as an official in IT department, he also worked on various project related projects.
“The IT degree was conferred by CTU in collaboration with the Government of Kerala on December 23, 2016, on the basis of a formal application,” a statement issued by CTUs IT department said.
Ramesh is currently a student at the University of Kerala, the statement added.
A bachelor’s in Information technology degree has been conferred on a citizen of India.
In April this year, a citizen from Kerala was granted a PhD degree in IT at the IT College of India in Chennai.
